Internet is known for many great things but I think that the best one is making the world smaller and reachable to everyone, thus we had the pleasure of meeting Katherine & Ian. Like all great gentleman Ian wanted to fulfill a young girl’s dream and to have the wedding in her home city of Copenhagen. We have never visited Denmark before and it was a great opportunity to do so now. We quickly bought tickets and had a great experience with AirSerbia which upgraded us to business class so we had a really pleasant flight to Denmark.
Copenhagen
Copenhagen is a magnificent city filled with rich history and gorgeous architecture. The center part of Nyhavn is still intact and has kept it’s original look and feel for over a 100 years now. It was the perfect place to do some nice photos and video of the couple before the wedding day.
The venue for the wedding was the classic Skodsborg Kurhotel located just outside of Copenhagen. Skodsborg Kurhotel is a true testament to the magnificent Danish royal history. Though you can still feel the old charm don’t be fooled by it’s age, the hotel has been upgraded to all the modern and luxury requirements. Needles to say, it was the perfect place to host a wedding like this one.
Completely unusual for Denmark, but the weather that weekend was one of the nicest throughout the year. Sun was going strong, love was in the air, and the couple was more than happy to pose for us all the way to sunset. We made great use of the hotels old architecture which resulted in a certain look that only a handful of locations can provide.
In the end we felt more like guests that actually working, reception was intimate and fun all the way to the last song of the evening.
